How can I reduce the size of the icons on my screen?

I accidentally pressed shift and another button and my screen/font/toolbars/icons enlarged to a bigger size, its really annoying having to scroll left and right to see the whole screen. HELP!

you have engaged your magnifier disengage by going to the browser and selecting view then selecting zoom and then the size you want
