Question:

How can I regain happiness?

Death is indeed a part of life. As human beings it is nothing new, this has been occuring for as long as mankind existed. But recently there have been a lot of people dying that I know and love. I just lost my grandmother a few minutes ago this morning and I am sad.

Not only that but I have lost alot of people that I know and I do mean quite a few. I feel that I have lost interest in the things that I used to like and I in life itself. It seems as though no matter how hard that I try, I can never gain happiness. Could someone please give me some good advice on how to stop grieving and become happy again? Thank you and blessings be.

  1. I am sorry for your loss.  I know it hurts.

This may not be a time when you're supposed to be happy - you're healing from a great injury, and it's complicated by the fact that you didn't have time to properly heal from the previous damage.  The fact that it doesn't show as a mark on your body doesn't matter - it is a real injury nonetheless and you have to heal.

When you have healed, you will find that you can be happy again.  At first you may feel guilty about it, but that, too, is normal.  It's Okay to be happy at the proper time, too, and only you can define what that time will be.

I'm sorry I can't give you any instant cures for this, but the fact is that there are none.

Trust in yourself that happiness will find you again, because it will.

    Good luck.
