Question:

How can I regain my parents' trust?

I accidentally owe my parents $75, and I don't have the money.

Not only do I owe them money, but I don't have their trust anymore.

I feel so guilty, because I didn't ask my parents first and I did something very stupid.

  1. Why pussyfoot around the question?  You did something "stupid", and you feel guilty.  Soooo, did you steal $75?  Sell something that wasn't yours?    How do you expect anybody to help you, when you don't even honestly state the problem?

  2. Well don't lie to them anymore and do everything they say.

  3. Firstly, I hope you sincerely apologized. Next, get a part-time job, save up the money to re-pay them and try to do extra chores around the house. Be more helpful and show them that you have learned your lesson and are trying to be much more responsible.

  4. The only way is to pay them back. Tell them you will do work for them until the $75 is paid back. Or get a job and pay them back.

That is the only way to regain the trust.

  5. Don't know what you did but it sound bad,ask them to due things around the house so you can pay them back. trust is an important thing you just don't get you have to earn it. just do everything they ask of you and what ever you do if they tell you no that means no.

  6. First you should tell them that you are very sorry. then you should try to find ways to pay them back and then continue to do chores around the house, but the most important thing is that you won't ever do it again.

  7. depending on what you did it will be easier or harder to regain their trust.just know that no matter what they will love you. try getting a job and earning some money. that way you can pay them back and prove yourself responsible.

    :)

  8. You shouldn't have taken money without asking them. One thing i would suggest is that you apologize from the heart. Tell them that you realize that you made a mistake and that it will never happen again. Ask them of ways that you can make it up to them. Maybe you can get some kind of a job to get the money or do house chores to make it up. Earning their trust is going to be harder, they are going to keep close eyes on you. You will have to try not to make any mistakes again. It will take time but you can get their trust back. Good luck.

  9. You can start by owning the responsibility.  You don't "accidentally" anything.  You screwed up, admit it fully and then begin to move on.  Some stains last longer than others in matters of trust but they are your family.  They will come around.  If you don't keep s******g up.
