Problem: http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1010108ds2.jpg

I have thick, fast growing hair and a day or two after shaving I get bumps, irritation etc. The hair on my throat seems quite prickly/harsh and doesn't just come through the skin like I see on most of my friends.

I can't shave more often because of these bumps, I would end up cutting my skin and missing the hair that's between them.

Shaving with the grain leaves loads of stubble, it must be the angle at which my hair comes out. It appears to mainly be my skin as well as the hair because all of my friends have really smooth necks, even when the hair is coming out.

I went from an M3 Power to a Merkur and use Taylor of Bond Street shaving cream, as well as making sure my neck is warmed up before shaving.

  1. get some after shave and buy some razor bump stopper that's what i use and i don't get any razor bumps anymore! you`ll have to buy 1 that suits your skin not all razor bump creams worked for me i been shaving for 5yrs

  2. i use only single bladed bics. throw them away after one use. anything with more than one blade rips my face up.
