How can I remember where I put something?

Ok, so I found something that was me and my friends and I miss placed it and I can't find it anywhere...

Any way in which I can like try to remember.

When ever you put something down, write it down on your arm where you left it.  That is if you can find a pen to write with.

try to think of the last place u put it and maybe if ur up to it rearrange ur room and try to find it.
