  1. On your Yahoo Messenger, click the 'Messenger' menu, then click 'Preferences'.

    On 'General', the 2nd option, 'When I sign in to Yahoo Messenger', UNMARK the box 'Show Yahoo Messenger Insider'.

    Click 'Ok' to close the window.

  3. I think you mean the yahoo link.Well remove it as your home page first.

    You can also use Adblock Plus for blocking yahoo or any other advertisements.
