How can I remove a candle that is stuck in a glass cylinder without cracking the cylinder??

  1. soak it in hot water for a while....

    pry carefully and you should get it out


  2. put the glass in a pan with 1 inch of water in the bottom and heat until candle melts.

  3. apply some heat....maybe dip it in warm water

  4. put it in freezer wife does it all the time with her hurricane lamps and there not cheap ones either 125 dollars a piece crsytal

  5. Put it in the freezer for a day and the candle should pop right out.

  6. Place it in the oven and set the temp to 170. Within a few minutes, the wax will have softened enough that it can be withdrawn from the cylinder.

  7. Soaking it in hot water is the safest way.

  8. Warm the glass and candle using a hairdryer.  Tap the glass tube gently once the wax is warm and it should slide right out.

  9. scrape out what you can carefully with a knife and then melt the remainder with a lighter or set it next to a fire
