How can I remove an oil spot from a leather purse?

This appears to be cooking oil, not road oil.

Use any dish washing liquid, rub in then rinse off.

In the leather making it is used oils to make it soft, so it is not easy to remove any kind of oil from its structure. You could try with some organic solvent but this may bleach the leather as well. I would recommend you to send it to special cleaners. Also, it could be possible to refinish it and you may get it back as a new purse.
