How can I remove ballpoint pen mark from khaki pants?

I have 3 inch long ball point pen mark on my light coloured khakis. It's one of my favorite, but the mark is right on the thigh. Is there a solotion i can use to remove the mark?

scrub it with some green palmolive dish soap

Saturate the spot with alcohol based hairspray then wash.

Spray-N-Wash works well on my daughter's pen marked clothes.
