I had a candle that dripped all its wax onto the patio bricks. I was able to remove all the excess dried wax but it left a big oily stain. Any suggestions?

  1. On a hot day when oil sheen seems hot and moist.  pour normal table salt all over it. It will draw up all the wax residue.

  2. its really hard to do but you can try putting a lighter to it, or scrape it with a putty knife

  3. News paper/paper towel and a hot iron. Put paper on stain and iron. Keep it up a couple of times. then, use baking soda and boiling water for the last bits

  4. Not sure how soaked in it is. Here are two options though. If its in large area you could place a bag of ice over it until the wax freezes and then it will just pick right up.

If it's deeper into the bricks, get your iron! Plug it into an outlet outside and put an old towel over the bricks and iron over it until all the wax gets hot and liquid again and the towel will soak it all up. Just don't plan on using a nice towel!

    Good luck!

  5. Hardware store sells a product called "Goog Off"

    This is basically lighter fluid
