  1. Don't put any soaps or cleaners on it yet!!

Go to your local Pet Store & purchase an enzyme treatment like "Nature's Miracle". Follow the directions.

This is going to take alot of treatment, time, & fresh air. You may NEVER get the smell out completely...

Sorry but, if it were me, having had many a cat urine problems in the past, I'd toss the couch asap :(

  2. I had a male cat and he was very old he passed away anyway he urinated on my leather sofa  and i tried everything made  even the stuff that was guaranteed to get the urine smell and stains out well there is no stain and it has been almost 2 years and once a week since then i have been trying to get the smell out , but it is still there and i have to keep a throw blanket over  the place because of the smell being so strong , i would love to get a new sofa but who can afford to throw away a sofa esp a leather one I love mine  its so cute and a beautiful color and it is old but  instead of throwing it out i just spray this pet urine smell elminator stuff on it everyday sometimes a few times a day and keep a throw blanket over it , I hope you have better luck than i have had .

  3. You can't.  It's toast.

  4. Things You’ll Need:

    Pet Stain Removers

    White Vinegar

    Bacteria/enzyme Cleaners

    Rubber Gloves

    Paper Towels

    Step1

Blot stain immediately with paper towels, absorbing as much fluid as possible.

    Step2

    Sponge stain with cold water.

    Step3

    Blot again with paper towels.

    Step4

Mix solution of 1 tbsp. white vinegar and 2 cups warm water.

    Step5

Dab vinegar and water solution on stain.

    Step6

Apply a specialized stain and odor removing bacteria/enzyme cleaner, such as "Outright Pet Stain Eliminator," "Pet 'Oops' Remover," or "Stain Gobbler" if the urine odor persists; follow the manufacturer's directions.

    ____________________

Test the vinegar solution on a piece of fabric that is hidden from view - under the cushion or on the backside of the furniture.

You may want to wear rubber gloves when performing this task.

  5. You need to use an enzyme cleaner that has been tested on leather and will not damage the finish.

The only one that I know has been tested in this way and will kill the bacteria and help with the stain is Em Clean

  6. Can't guarantee this will work but I have heard it works miracles!
