How can I remove dried glue that has yellowed?

I used glue on two pieces of white canvas to attach them. It worked fine, but now it has yellowed where the excess glue is showing (the seams of the canvas)). How can I remove this excess glue? Thanks

try peeling it off with a butter knife.
