How can I remove lily pollen from a shirt?

Question

My husband has got a large splodge of lily pollen on a pale blue cotton shirt. Is there any way I can get it out ?

if its loose and powdery still then celotape will get rid of it - just wrap some round your fingers and dab this should lift it off * use the sticky side on the pollen

if not rubbed in then im sorry i dont know

I was all dressed up to go to a wedding and was mortified when I caught my lovely pale blue jacket on lily pollen. A friend simply wrapped sellotape round her finger and kept dabbing the stain untill it disappeared. DO NOT rub the stain, and definately do not wet it.  It will only spread and will be nigh on immpossible to remove.

Try putting a blob of fairy washing up liquid on the stain and then washing the shirt straight away, don't let the liquid dry.  Good Luck
