How can I remove mold from clothing/ a hat caused by moisture in a bag?

; ie. ice cream on son's hat, put in bag and forgot to clean. stained, eek!?

I use a product called exit mold, but any product that you spray on showers and baths to remove mold will work. Spray it on and hang in the sun and the mold should disappear like magic.

throw it out and buy a new one! not sarcasm the mold will leave a nasty smell that im sure you dont want in your hair!
