How can I remove old plasticine from plastic cutters?

I´m talking about plastic cutters and shapes which are covered in last year´s plasticine.

There´s too much of it to pick it off.

Is there anything I can soak them in which would dissolve the plasticine?

  1. Just soak them in hot soapy water over night then rinse them under hot running water. I have that problem with plasticine and play dough at work. (I work in a school).

  2. lighter fluid!!. works   good!!

  3. Pop them in the dishwasher if you have one, if not just hot soapy water and a wire brush hun :)

  4. Hot water should do the trick really

  5. Hot water with fairy liquid should do it, leave them to soak for a few hours.

  6. It's basically made of flour, so just stick them in the dishwasher or soak in hot water and scrub.

  7. Hi pop them in the freezer for an hour then they become brittle and easy to clean

  8. wait for it to dry and it crumbles
