My son and nephew recently slept in the guest room while I was out of town (and my mom was here watching them) and now theres a terrible pee smell that I CAN'T GET RID OF!! My guess is that one of them had an accident somewhere, but i can't find where. I've stripped the bedding, checked the mattress, smelled every square inch of the carpet, the curtains, shades, even parts of the walls. Right now I have baking soda sitting on the carpet w/ the window open to air it out. I don't know what else to do?!?! Does anyone have any ideas?

  1. To find where it is, get a black light. It will glow when you put the light near it! Happy Hunting!!! ;0)

  2. Yes, Yes, and Yes!!  At your local Sam's Warehouse Store they sell a product call ODABAN.  Go there and purchase some.  It comes in a gallon jug and also a free spray bottle comes with it.  Spray your whole room down with it and wash all baseboards and everywhere else.  Place some in some small bowls around the room and as they dry up add some more.  It does not take a lot but your room will be fresh as new in no time.  (You may also want to clean your carpet just in case one may have just not quite not made it to the bathroom)

  3. use a blacklight to find the stain, then use your preferred cleaning solution.  you may need an enzymatic cleaner to get rid of it

  4. is your son old enough to tell you where did they peed?

If you have washed everything down it's probably the carpet then! or  inside the closet ,spray some white vinegar on the carpet and than steam clean and rinse with clear water.
