I accidentally wrote on a dry erase board with a permanent marker. So far I've used the solution that comes with the usable markers and windex but so far nothing works.

  1. Rubbing alcohol or they sell a solution that can remove it at your local office supply store.

  2. rubbing alcohol works great

  3. try rubber that you use to remove pencil writings.

  4. Gel toothpaste or Lava soap.

  5. alcohol - every time

  6. To remove permanent marker from a dry erase board, use nail polish remover, it sounds silly, but it's happened to me and it works great!

  7. My daughter just did this last night.  Take a cotton ball and wet it down with rubbing alcohol.  It may take 2 or 3 balls, but it will come clean if it is fairly recent.  I have used it on maker up to a week old.  good luck.

  8. write over the permanent marks with a dry erase marker then use your dry eraser

  9. I've done this. You just have to write over it with the dry erase marker and it will come right off with the eraser.

  10. What works better than Rubbing alcohol is fingernail polish remover. Test it in a small area first, with some boards it will remove the finish of the board.
