How can I remove something from my bedroom wall?

I just removed a magazine picture from my bedroom wall. Unfortunately, there was text on the other side and it seems to have melted to the wall. It's noticeable too. :(

I tried that sticky tack stuff, since it's putty I thought it might rub it off. That didn't work. Advice?

Mr. Clean eraser or hot soapy water.
