Also have the odd stain on a melamine surface and a visitor who smokes accidentally left a mark on a window sill.

  1. Rub a slice of fresh lemon over stains, leave on for a few hours, use a non scratch pad with detergent solution, wipe over gently.  Voila

  2. Whole host of products on the market just whatever you want to pay I suppose.

  3. A little Cillit Bang, my friend. You can buy a tub of powder or a spray bottle of it. If you buy the powder you sprinkle it on the hob and pour on a little water. The bottle sprays straight on. Either way, leave it to fizz for about 10 minutes, then come back and wipe it off.

    Job done.

  4. lemon juice or toothpaste - especially one with sodium bicarbonate in.

  5. Pure lemon juice and vinegar

  6. Try a solution of bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar with warm water (about 1tsp of each) wipe this solution over the hob and leave for about 10mins - should clean up easily then... can also be used on the melamine surface ... may help to reduce the cigarette scorch but may not remove it all.....

    :)

  7. there are many sprays all over the tv advertising. Flash, fairy power spray, just use one of these and you could wipe the stain off with a cloth
