How can I remove the Verizon banner from myYahoo home page?

When using your verizon account to sign into Y! you will always see verizon branding displayed. This also carries into external applications such as Y! Messenger and Y! Music Jukebox.

In short, as long as you're using your Verizon/Yahoo! account ID/pswd, you're stuck with their graphics.

I'm guessing that you started out using the basic My Yahoo and one day you looked up and it was Verizon Yahoo, right?

I'm asking this because it happened to me quite a few times before I got sick of it and called 1-800-567-6789, talked to a tech rep and told him to stop it from happening. He did and I've not had that problem since (8-9 months). If this sounds like your problem, here's your solution!
