  1. yaaaak this virus sucks but thanks god there is a removal tool u can download it here http://send.onenetworkdirect.net/z/21962...

and follow the removal instruction and how to use this utility here

    http://removal-tool.com/antivirus-2008/

    hop this help :)

  2. its not a virus >

    Comodo Personal Firewall – CPF.EXE

Cpf.exe installs with Comodo Personal Firewall by the Comodo Group. This firewall promises protection from internal and external attacks from malicious programs or Trojans and to help prevent identity theft. More information can be found at http://www.personalfirewall.trustix.com/...

If you use this as your firewall program, you'll want to leave this file in place.  the file is safe as comodo is a  good firewall and trusted too

  3. It may be a virus. The best way to find it to do a online scanning and for that there are web site like

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

    http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/cente...

are there and you can do all type of scanning.

    So dont take any risk.

One thing I wanted to tell you that if you have geniune Microsoft OS in your PC then only you should try at the LIVE CARE other wise you can use trendmicro.

  4. Download, install and run CCleaner  to clean up old temp files.

    http://www.ccleaner.com   [Free]

Restart your PC in safe mode with networking

    http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.s...

Download, install and run a full scan with Malwarebytes

    http://www.malwarebytes.org

Run a full scan with Micro Trend House Call

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

After the scans, restart the PC and update your anti-virus, remember to only have one anti-virus installed on your PC

http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-...  [Free, if you do not have one]

  5. Scan the file. If your antivirus said it is a virus, then you remove it.

  6. no.... comodo firewall's process is called CFP.EXE, not CPF.EXE... are you sure you typed it correctly?

  7. cpf.exe is part of comodo firewall,it you still have it you better not delete it.If you don't still have it,run a windows search to find it and then delete it manually.
