I configured my old roommate's Netgear router for him via my computer, but I've since moved and installed my own Belkin router instead How do I get rid of all files/traces of the Netgear router? I really hate clutter on my hard drive. Thanks.

  1. aside from "add/delete programs", google search for a "windows registry cleaner" program and run it, should do the trick.

  3. Delete it, Add or Remove Programs......Delete the file manually.

  4. Go to Control Panel / Network Connections

    Delete the wireless connection

It will take with it all traces of the old connection

It will be restored fresh and clean the next time you boot up
