How can I remove wet silicone sealer used for cars?

It is on a chrome grille assembly and a plastic trim i was trying to fix to it.

  1. FYI

    It's not normal to use silicon sealant on cars as it plays havoc when it comes to have paint work done.

    Tiger seal or Sikaflex are more the norm.

    Regarding your current problem, if you've got it everywhere let it cure and use silicon remover, available from Screwfix.
