How can I renew my Florida driver's license without having to show proof of citizenship?

Due to a combination of procrastination and extreme business, I failed to renew my driver's license on time. To add insult to injury, I cannot seem to find my naturalization certificate, and I do not have a United States passport as proof of citizenship. In the state of Florida, can I get around that setback and still be able to - legally - renew my driver's license?

You can't.  This is the Real ID Law kicking in.  Order a new citizenship certificate ASAP.

File an I-565 with the USCIS.....
