How can I repair bald spots in a carpet?

Ok, I have a pet rabbit, and she really likes to dig. I realized that's she's dug up a couple of small patches in the carpet. I rent and I really don't want this to come out of my deposit. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do to fix it?

You will have to cut them out and replace with a similar pattern glued in with seam tape.

use a piece of carpet and stitch via hard thread....
