i have been a member of a yahoo group for a long time now, and i got into an argument with the moderator, because she thought i was bad-mouthering her. i was just stating my opinion, and so did other members of the group. one of the members was removed from the group, and the others that dared to say their opinion about the matter, were put on moderated post, and the moderator won't approve any of their messages, no matter of the content. so we decided we want to report the group, for discrimination, for taking our right to an opinion and for taking our freedom of speech.

  1. nothing you can do and Yahoo wont get involved. the moderator isn't violating any TOS terms and in fact, this goes on in many groups and moderators have the option/ right to put members on moderated posts and not approve them. they can also ban you if they wanted.

there is no freedom of speech or discrimination- which discrimination you'd need a lawyer, not Yahoo.

sorry, try to get along with everyone or find another group

  2. You are out of luck, the owner(moderator) can do as they please in regards to moderation or banning.  If you don't like the way the group is operated you best find another group more to your liking or start your own.
