  1. that depends on what you mean by restore.  you can download freeram andthat will clear you ram cache,  you increase your virtual memory.  or you can reformat your computer.  all are correct answers the question just isn't specific enough.

  2. you must be a little more specific.  did you lose a file or the whole hard drive?

  3. Either not enough RAM or not enough hard drive space.

  4. by memory I'm assuming you are refering to your HDD or hard drive. You can go into your computer and do a disc clean, or if you want reformate it and deleted everything.

  5. You need to increase the size of your "virtual memory paging file"  Okay now in non-geek terms.

First how much memory/ram is in your computer?  If you have 2GB's or more you can actually disable your "virtual memory paging file".

If not and you actually need to increase it this is what you would do.

Find the "My computer" icon on your desktop and right click on it.  Left click on properties.  This will display the general tab and show you how much ram/memory you have as well.  (Sorry not sure were your pc familiarity is at)

At the top you will see a tab to the right that says "advanced" and you will want to left click on that.  When that tab opens you will have a few options on the page and you will want to choose the one that says "performance."  It is the first box and you will click on "settings"

The next tab that opens is labeled "Performance Options" and you will see 3 tabs.  You want the one in the middle "Advanced" Left click on that.

When that tab opens at the bottom you will see "Virtual Memory"  it should say Total paging file size for all drives:  with a number follwed by the letters "mb"  Then click on "change"

When the Virtual Memory tab opens you will see Drive [Volume Label] paging File Siz (MB) with a number range

It will also list a custom tab that says initial size MB with a number and then a Maximixe size MB

I believe default is 1536 and Max is 3072 (sorry not using Windows at the moment)   There is a option to allow windows to set the size as well.

Yeah okay now that I have told you about all of this, I need to know the numbers that are in the "Initial size" and the Maximum Size please and also if you have more than 2GB of RAM however at least you now have the instructions to get back there so you can easily change this.

Hopefully this didn't get too geeky.  If it did.  Let me know and I am more then happy to help even more.  But please let me know the answer to those questions and we can get this resolved.

  6. Please elaborate, this question makes no sense. Is the memory bad? Did some one steal it? Do you actually mean hard drives?

Please give a bit more details of the problem.

  7. Well I'm not sure what you mean by that.. but if you want the original amount you will have to open the cpu and put in an additional memory module. Or you could perhaps add more virtual memory by right clicking on 'my computer' and select 'properties' and then select 'advanced' and select performance 'settings' then click the 'advanced' tab and select 'change virtual memory' make  that number much higher and select set then close the windows.

  8. clean it up use ccleaner.com

    or wisecleaner.com
