I'm planning on moving from California to Arizona for soon for a short period of time (just one year) for work purposes. I need to know if i can retain my california citizenship while living in arizona and if my CA driver's license will be valid there. Keeping CA citizenry would be greatly helpful especially since i plan on going back to school when i move back there. Any insight to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  1. because it is temporary, you are fine. Kids do it all the time for college. You know, move out of state for 4 years...then back to their home state, and are still a resident.

If you are living with your parents, just use their address for the permenant address on every thing that asks for it, which isnt the same as your mailing address.

  2. you don't have to do anything

  3. h**l don't worry about it.
