How can I retrieve my search history once it's been deleted?

When my husband goes online he deletes the search history and I want to know if I can retrieve it after it's been deleted?, since I don't always save each web site that I visit to my favorites, I can never retrieve the search history once he's deleted it.

Once history is intentionally cleared you can't retrieve it by ordinary means or ordinary security.  And he won't appreciate extrordinary tactics.

While you're both using the same login for Windows (assuming it's Windows) what he does will always affect you.

Assuming you are using Windows XP or Vista, with Administrator rights, you may create your own user profile and password protect it to keep him from accessing it.

Another option is to use a different browser like  Netscape http://browser.netscape.com/ or Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/  Those can be installed and you can choose to use one instead of Internet Explorer.
