  1. You don't. This is from their website....and I think it really stinks!! How 'bout you?

  2. yahoo have changed everyone to their new home page by stealth, your old home page is now not recognised by the server so your wasting your time trying to get it back again, it like a new marriage, we are stuck with it for better or worse

  3. DO NOT MEDDLE WITH SYSTEM-RESTORE TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM!!!

yahoo is simply uncooperative. all you can do is hit them where they live; maybe they'll get the idea.

here is a place where you can get a hosts file replacement and painless installer which will prevent the download and appearance of yahoo (and many others') advertising:

in the end, i honestly hope that yahoo comes to it's senses, but in lieu of that, i suppose that it should be more humane to hasten their consumption by microsoft. . .

  4. quickest way    system restore

  5. The old look is gone and Yahoo is forcing me to adapt to whatever it likes that, I don't like.

So, if it has to be a new page, I'll first try iGoogle. Google has more services any way.

  6. yeah i wanted to know the same answer  why fix something thats not broken

  7. The link to the old page has been deleted. I tried to go there but it didn't work. Also I cannot see the new page on all my computers. It works POORLY on explorer 6 but not at all on netscape. Might be time to find another home page.

  8. i hate it too

  9. This is the last straw. From today on MyYahoo is no longer my browser home page.

Switch to i-Google. It is much better. Yahoo will go bankrupt in a few years anyway.

    One bad decision after another.

The old MyYahoo page was fine, I liked it. Now they are changing it to be more like i-Google.

Folks, if they are forcing us to get a watered down version of i-Google then why not just go and get the real thing?
