I normally use a flea collar which tends to disappear so I tried the drops on the back of the neck, now I keep noticing them on my legs especially when I'm at the computer. they are slow enough to catch.

  1. Flea collars and combs work for some... BUT never for me!

I use "Frontline". It is a quick simple procedure that takes no time to do! Plus, it kills the nasty little buggers in minutes! They don't even have time for one last bite. It also kills the eggs. It also can prevent your pet from Tick and Mosquito bites.

Sure it costs some, (I order off of petmeds) But it works!

To help prevent my house from attack, I use flea bombs by "Rade". I hate chemicals products, especially pesticides! But you got to do What You Got To Do. If the fleas have invaded... I bomb my house twice. They usually die off in a day.

If you want to go a more organic root, Vinegar works great. It does not kill the fleas, but they don't like the taste. Warning though: Cats, Dogs and Pet Mice also do not like the taste. It works great on rugs, couches and other fabric items.

To rid your self of the smell of vinegar, that is another problem.

    Good Luck!

  2. Use either Revolution, Advantage, or Frontline. You can do it about once a month until the infestation goes away. What will happen is the fleas will bite your animal and then die (the stuff goes in their blood, which is why you should avoid it getting on your skin). Make sure to read the instructions so the cat won't be able to l**k it off. YOu can also comb them with a flea comb and then place the comb in a solution of dish soap and water.

  3. If you have bathed the cat in a flea shampoo and used the drops, she should be clear.  If you are seeing them on your legs, I'm sorry but the cat is no longer the problem, they are in your carpet and probably your furniture.

If you have a way to remove all pets and plants from your house for a day or so, a flea bomb is your best bet, along with liberal use of carpet flea powder, some serious vacuuming and lots and lots of laundry.

Also, triple check to make sure the cat really is free of them or it will be a never-ending cycle.  What we did was take our cats to a groomer where they all had flea baths, and while they were out of the house we set off the flea bombs.

  4. T-Gel Shampoo and Conditioner that's what we use on our house cat and it works wonders the best way to get rid of them out of your house is to just give the cat a bath and then let the cat get covered again and just keep giving it a bath. The cat won't like it but it'll do the job. Good luck
