How can I save a powerpoint slide as a picture?

go to file save as then underneth the name of the slide show there should b a bar click down and save as a .jpeg or other picture format

THis is a strange way, but you could view the Powerpoint, then go to the slide, Print Screen the slide, then paste the 'Print Screened' slide into My Pictures or something, hope i helped!

You don't need any software program to do this in PowerPoint 2007, open your presentation, click the office button>>save as>>other formats. then a dialog appears, in the drop-down list save as type, choose the format JPEG File Intechange Format/GIF. Then OK!

Click File->Edit->Select All, then File->Save As, choose the image format of your choice, give it a name and click OK or press enter.

Hi,

All the suggestions I see so far are right on the money, except that if you use the File > Save As method look for the option that lets save the Current Slide. Otherwise your entire presentation will be saved as a series of pictures.
