How can I save a recorded movie from a CD onto my computer to a video file?

I have recorded a programe onto a CD and I want to transfer it onto my computer as a video file but when I try to do this 2 seperate files show up as VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS. Would anyone be able show me how to save the programe properly onto my computer
