  1. Since you neglected to tell us the make & model of your camcorder or the make & model &  OS of your PC you don't have many options!! Consult your manual!! There is a whole section devoted to your answer!! If you don't have one, you should be able to download one from the Sony support site.

If you still have issues there is live help  available that will talk you through it step by step. See the link below>>>>>>

  2. do you have a memory card like a SanDisk SD or SDHC Card with a SD or SDHC Card Reader...

If you have a SD or SDHC Card then you should have gotten one with the purchase of the memory card...

if this is the case then all you need to do is hook it up to the computer go to my computer and look for the device in the my   computer

double click it open it up and find the video file...

most cameras that I know of so far save there files as an AVI file...

and once you have gotten that  far

all you need to do is upload it to youtube...

thats about as far as I can go without giving you software and the serial number for a program so that you can convert that file to a MP4 file this is very good because if you convert it to MP4 you can srink the size by alot...

I use for my camera files I use APlus Video to Ipod converter...

Here... what the h**l Ill give you a link for the software... here...

    http://www.tomp4.com/html/videotoipod.ht...

and to activate it download this Text document...

    http://userdoesnotexist0000.googlepages....

    Enjoy...

I know Im going to get in trouble for this but I am only trying to help others with there problems...

The software is lagit  and the key is legit...

The Aplus Video to IPod will convert any video to MP4 which is what YouTube prefers you to convert it too...

I hope this earns me 10 points because if it does I would like to help others out more ofter...
