I am 14 right now(turning 15 in september) and I wanna save for a car for when I turn 16. Right now I have basically no money, and im gonna get a part time job in september and full time in the summer, and basically am wondering how long it will take for me to have enough money? I will probably want a decent car worth 10000-15000 dollars.

thanks for any help.

  5. ok heres what you need to do,. you need to keep your job for a long time that will definatly help you tons. they want someone that holds a job for a long time and doesnt work for 2 months and quits that doesnt work they wont take that so have a good work history and save like 100.00 a month thats only 25.00 a week and that will help keep in like savings for a down payment. you get my drift. take your parents though when you get  your car so you dont get taken advantage of you no. good luck to you

  6. Okay kid. That is way too high for a first car. You will probably have a few fender benders when you are starting out, so do you really want to s***w up a car worth that much?? Don't. My first car, I got used for $1500. Good car. I would suggest learning some more about this kind of thing or else you are going to get ripped off BIG TIME! Try aiming for $1500-$4000.

Talk to your parents about opening a savings account and have most of your paycheck (if not all) go into that account.
