Ok, I have a normal full time job that isnt so well paid, I have tried to find a new job but have had no luck so in the meantime I am struggling!

I can work evenings and maybe the odd weekend but where can I work apart from a bar? I don't have the room for a lodger and all my bills are the cheapest they can be. I even shop around for my monthly groceries - I always know the cheapest place!

I've sold on Gumtree, Ebay etc but have nothing left to sell!

Anyone have any sensible ideas?!

  2. Its no more tough to make money from home. There are many ways of making money from home and outside home, online and offline. You can find some good options from http://makingmoneyfree.blogspot.com/

  3. you could get a part time job as a cleaner i do it for an hour every morning and earn an extra £70 a week.  also if you live in the UK check on your local councils website that your not entitled to housing benefit or council tax benefit. most councils now have a benefit calculator that you can use. also check with hmrc that you are paying the correct amount of tax. and see if you are entitled to tax credits. there is a website called my supermarket witch compares all the prices of all the supermarkets to check that you are paying the cheapest prices. check with your utility companies that you are paying the right amount. you never knew you could be due a rebate. if you are in debt and struggling to pay talk to the cc cs or cab. make sure your with a bank that wont let you go overdrawn  take reasonable amounts out for your everyday living expenses and priority bills such as rent electric gas food phone etc then see what you've got left and negotiate with your lenders. legally they cannot take from you what you don't have. i hope this helps

i know it sounds corny but  only other thing i can think of is economising like mad make your own sandwiches for work

make large meals and freeze instead of getting takeaways. try and walk instead of getting taxis. scour the Internet for money off vouchers. i really feel for you as i was once in this position and good for you for trying to keep out of debt

ps if your looking for bar or cleaning work the best place is probably the jobcentre plus website. and if you check and apply for these jobs everyday you are very likly to get one quickly as these employers just want someone to fill the post quickly. hope this helps
