Question:

How can I search & locate a person and family members without being charged a fee?do you know of any websites?

a website that is absolutely free no charge. I've tried people search and even when they say it's free it takes me intilius and they do charge. All the other websites also claim to be free but they actually charge a fee even if it's a small fee. Very frustrating. Please HELP!

  2. I actually located a friend I had "misplaced" 25 years ago by going to dogpile.com.  It did help that she had a very unusual last name.  I had her on the phone within two days of discovering the dogpile.com site, and we have been blessed with a nice renewal of our friendship.

Well, right off the bat I know two websites but I don't know whether they charge a fee or not:  genealogy.com and familytree.com.  You could ask for government records from agencies, but you know the government makes a business out of everything.  I say, if you really want to know about your ancestors, the fee shouldn't matter so much.  Unless they ask for credit card info, then I get what you mean.
