How can I see my natural parent without adoptive parent permission??

When I was 3 I was adopted by my step-dad and I know everything about my natural father and we talk all the time. My mother doesn't like it, but she still lets me. She wont let me see him though and it is illegal without my adoptive parents permission until i am 18. We both really want to see each other and i would love to meet my 3 year old half-sister so how can I do that without their permission?? What are the penalties if i do and get caught??

Other than waiting until you're 18, there isn't another way you can do it without permission.

As far as penalties go if you do it without permission...take every kind of caution. Meet up in your town and in public somewhere, if you do it out of state your parents could press kidnapping charges for taking a minor over states lines (i would suggest doing it in your town so there's absolutely no  standing of charges, just in case). Then the only penalty there might be is your parents cutting off connection with your father until you're legal and can decide for yourself.
