Buying a softball bat is your personal decision; you should chose bat that fits your body configuration and skill level, weight, height etc.
There are two types of bat
Aluminum bat features
This bat is lighter weight than other which increase the control and speed that why it favorite among many players. You can save money because this bat is extremely difficult to break or crack
Graphite/Titanium lined features
This type of bat increase durability, It also help to reduce vibration due to technology it enable maker to use lighter, stronger material.
If you are 5-7 years old you should use bat size of 24"-26"
8-9 years old bat size 26"-28"
10 years old bat size 28"-29"
11-12 years old bat size 30"-31"
13-14 years old bat size 31"-32"
15-16 years old bat size 32"-33"
17+ year’s old34"
