How can I select interior recording on vista?

4 Example ... I am playing a song I open any recording software and record it from inside the computer itself...

In XP I used to select Mono Mix of Studio Mix to do that...but now I have Vista how can I do it? I can't find mono or studio mix!!!

help plz...

Mono Mix/Studio Mix is a third party software that was installed on your computer.  You need to reinstall that software on your Vista computer to be able to use it.  Then you can record like you did on your XP machine.  Your Mono Mix/Studio Mix application wasn't part of Microsoft Windows.  It may have been software that came with your sound card also, so if anything check with your sound card manufacturer (via their website) for any applications for card.

There are also many other applications to record "what you hear" on your computer.  You can save them in many formats also (.wav, .mp3, etc.)
