  1. To see how much they are worth, you can pay for a domain name appraissal. The free alternatives aren't as accurate but you can try them:

    - Go to http://estibot.com for a free appraissal

    - Join a forum, like http://namepros.com, they have a section dedicated to appraising domain names by experienced members

As for selling, sell on Ebay only if you want make a quick sale and don't expect much money for it.

If you hold premium or really good domain names with traffic, go for Sedo ( http://sedo.com/main.php3?language=us&pa... ). Sedo allows you to list your domains for free, park your domains to earn income and submit your domains to premium auctions.

  2. I know if you figure out how much traffic you're domain is getting on a day-to-day basis, you might be figuring out exactly how much your site(s) are worth! I was looking into the same thing on eBay, and it seems like that's what their telling everyone to boost the cost of their own sales - that those domains are constantly getting "hits" and are booming. If someone sees potential in it, their gonna wanna swoop it up the moment they see it. As far as marketing goes, I would view some of the ways people auction theirs on eBay, some of their domain's "qualities" and use it to highlight your own. Then simply find the best way and quickest way to say that (I would probably still use eBay, personally) and post it!

    Good Luck!

  3. Dealing in domain names can be a profitable business. Some people make good income from it. There is a fair amount to learn to do it professionally, but I am going to recommend a website which covers the whole business in detail, for a one time investment of $37 and it's worth every cent.
