How can I sell my photos as postcards to shops in London?

Are there any rules or contracts to think over when I want to sell my postcards. I can print them myself and distribute them.

  1. There are postal regulations on size, paper weight, and how much room has to be left for the address and the writing.  I kinda hope the Royal Mail has some information about that on their website.

Never having been in this line of work as a shop buying them or trying to sell them to shops, I imagine that if they want to sell them they'll just buy a certain number and put them on their racks with their own price.  So if they're going to sell them for 50p they'll only want to pay 20p or something for them.

Alternatively, you might want to look on the back of some existing postcards, see what company does them, and see if you can get some work with them.

If you do wind up doing it yourself, put a copyright on the back, too.
