I live in Orlando FL. I have a double wide trailer I am trying to sell. I have tried to sell it on craigslist for over 2 months. I dont want much for it. I really only want $4500. Not much at all. Is there a company out there that buys mobile home. Please I really want to sell this ASAP. The local paper cost way to much to use. what can I do?

  1. Does your local church have a bulletin board or newsletter? How about the grocery store? Sometimes where I live, they have a place to put these type of things up...

word of mouth, tell everyone...and hopefully they will tell friends...

    good luck! :-)

  2. You might be better off donating it to charity and taking the tax write off.

  3. .  My friend owned a mobile home park.  She ended up owning 7 trailers. Everyone tried to sell for $5,000.  At the last minute, they were going to walk away and get nothing. She paid them $1,500 and they were happy. Your trailer has value but you may need to wait 9 months to get $4,000.  If you can't wait, you just dump it.

  4. If it's on a private lot call one of those vacation cottage places and see if there interested. Sometimes they'll buy it to put it into a time share program. If it's in a park ask the park management if they buy trailors, sometimes they do then rent them out. Don't just ask the manager though ask the OWNER cause the manager would say no just to not have to bother with you. Keep going on craig's list don't give up. Any local free ad papers you can put it in? How about bulletin boards at the local grocery stores or cafe's?

  5. Why not try to sell it to the park it is located in? I'm guessing that is where it is located from your question, since you don't mention land...

  6. webuyuglyhouses.com probably would.
