How can I sell stocks I have in certificate form online?

Try talking or going to a stock broker (i believe they're called these), these guys can organise and/or sell your shares. If they are certificates you should be able to redeem them for a digital stock which will allow you to use it on-line if need be.

You need to contact the discount broker.  The shares will have to have endorsed stock powers documents and be Medallion guaranteed.  It actually will not be a quick process as the shares have to be transferred first out of your name and into the brokerage firms name in order for them to sell them.

Open an account at a  discount brokerage firm, bring in all your stocks, they will hold them, and then you can sell them anytime you want.

Otherwise you sell a stock and have 3 days in which to deliver the certificate to the firm. A lot of firms will not take that order without the stock in hand first.
