Question:

How can I send a "Reactivation Request" to every bouncing member?

I run a list with over 600 members and we have had a growing number of bouncing memers. Periodically, I used to go through the list and send "Reactivation Requests" to them one-by-one. Since our list is a health support group my moderators and I suffer from the disease we are trying to support. Handling a large number of reactivation requests is difficult when done one at a time. I have asked Yahoo Groups to add the capability to send reactivation requests to "all" people in the list of bouncing members with a single button. Then, those that fail to reactivate can be readily removed using the "select all" under "Remove". I did not think I was asking for something difficult for Yagoo Groups to implement and I thought it would be even more useful to lists with more members than ours. How does anyone get the attention of Yahoo Groups regarding potential enhancements to their interface for moderators/owners? Any ideas?

Thanks, Steve

  1. when you make a suggestion, it doesn't mean yahoo will ever use it. I send reactivations one by one, and also look at why they are bouncing- I myself have no issue doing this one by one in a very large group.
