It's one of the safest and best ways to ship to Cuba...guaranteed for receipt of items. But just remember, the heavier the items, the more expensive. But I'm sure that might not be an issue for your sweet novio ;-)

Yes you can send your stuff by DHL courrier . DHL is the only international courrier service allowed in Cuba , it's very reliable with internet tracking.....but it's not cheap.

DHL (and other courrier services are fine for small parcels like documents, medicines, CD's etc. The transport cost for bigger parcels is more that the content value.

Don't use regular post services to send a package , the majority never arrive at destination.

You can send money , most clothing can be bought in Cuba, the only problem is that the Cubans can not afford to buy them because of their low income ( normal wages 15-20 US $ /month) ( a pair of decent shoes costs 50-65 $ in Cuba)
