+ what again? .... they said +1 ..like for example.. im texting to China.. But im from malaysia... in china i know for sure its +86(cell number) .. what about in the states?

For the united state  you add +1 in front of the phone number to text.  you can also use AIM or yahoo to send texts from your computer also.
