How can I sent up an email alert to me when a topic of interest is posted? (A specific item for sale, e.g.)?

I would like to be able to set an alert so that when a group member posts on a particular topic, with that topic in the body or the title of the posting, I can be emailed that the post has occurred.

well, grouply has that function (wouldn't recommend that, the fear factor is still way strong), and unless your e-mail provider does, yahoo has nothing of the sort.

you're choice is individual mail, digest or no mail.
