I have tried to pour water into the bottom saucepan, so that I could boil it and allow steam to do the rest, but water won't fit! Have tried olive oil, with the same result! Any ideas, anyone?

  1. Have you tried something like WD-40?  Since that's a spray, it gets in places that a liquid doesn't and since it's a penetrating oil, if you leave it sit a bit, it will work it's way in between the pans.

And it's a much lighter texture/liquid than Olive oil which will also help with the getting in it between the pans.

  2. You do not  describe the material of which they are made- but if SS then put a load of ice in the top one and then the lower one on some heat and they should part easily. If not then buy new ones.

  3. s***w driver and hammer

  4. cold water

  5. Try heating the outer saucepan in a low flame without water - that should expand the lower, so that the inner pan breaks free

  6. Put them in the freezer to get cold then pull apart.

  7. Put the bottom one on the stove, heat it a bit.

Pour COLD water in the top one.

    Then try to seperate.

The Heat on the bottom one should expand it a bit.

The Cold in the top will shrink that one a bit.

  8. chuck 'em in the bin, and buy two more!
