How can I separate audio from video from a Music Video?

I have this music video that I need the audio, but not the video. How do I split the audio from the video. It doesn't matter what type, but preferably .avi or .wmv. I was wondering if there is a free program for it or something. If you do not understand the question just tell me that and I'll add more. Thank You
